Chad Hovind holds a BA and a MA in Ministry from Moody Bible Institute and Moody Theological Seminary in Chicago where he majored in pastoral ministry and radio and television communication. As writer, Hovind is also the acclaimed author of Godonomics: The Biblical Case for Free Market Capitalism and Fast Track Bible, a creative, fast-paced summary of the entire Bible.
Chad’s been a featured speaker at a variety of international and national speaking venues with CBMC, WillowCreek, and various business and church training conferences. Believing that people learn best when having fun, Chad innovatively engages others in deep and compelling content. He speaks weekly to 1500 people who are curious, yet often unconvinced about the authenticity of Jesus, God, or the Bible. Using personal stories, a practical, laugh-out-loud style, and a reasoned approach, Chad explains Christianity’s irrefutable evidence.
Hovind credits his parents for their great family upbringing demonstrating real faith as authentic, fun, and relevant at the kitchen table, in the community, and in everyday life for his path to full time Christian service. He has been a lead pastor at three church plants that have grown into mega-churches in Georgia and Ohio. Hovind’s creativity and passion can be seen in many forms: team leading, motivational speaking, expository teaching, acting, directing, and producing out-of-the-box media. His new TV show, Fast Track with Chad Hovind launches fall of 2017 co-hosted with his daughter, Sierra. The show features science experiments, radio theater, and one-man dramas taking people from Genesis to Revelation in 16 episodes.
Chad and his wife of 25 years, Beth, and their three children reside in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Chad loves playing sand volleyball weekly, wake-boarding behind a jet ski with his son Javan, and downhill skiing, especially with his special needs, autistic son, Quinn.
